yesispeakfrench is run by Marina Olszak, who is the data controller for the information described here. For any question about your data, or to exercise any of the rights below, contact o.marina899@gmail.com.
Simply reading this website collects nothing. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixel, and no third-party fonts — everything the page needs is served from this domain.
Information is only collected when you choose to book a lesson or contact Marina:
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email address | Booking a lesson | To confirm the booking and send calendar invitations and reminders |
| Phone number | Booking the consultation call | So Marina can call you at the agreed time |
| Anything you write in the notes field | Booking a lesson | To prepare a lesson that fits you |
| Payment details | Paying for a lesson or package | Handled entirely by Stripe — card numbers never reach this website and are never stored by Marina |
| Message content | If you write by email or WhatsApp | To answer you |
These providers act on Marina's instructions. Your data is not sold, rented or shared with anyone else, and it is never used for advertising.
This website sets no cookies of its own. The booking calendar is only loaded when you actively choose a lesson and continue — until you do that, nothing from Cal.com or Stripe runs on the page. Once opened, Cal.com and Stripe set cookies that are necessary to make the booking and the payment work securely.
Booking data is processed to perform the contract between you and Marina — she cannot teach a lesson she does not know about. Payment and accounting records are kept to comply with legal obligations. Messages you send are handled on the basis of the legitimate interest in answering you.
Booking and contact records are kept for 3 years after your last lesson, so Marina can pick up where you left off if you return. Payment and accounting records are kept for 10 years, as French commercial law requires. You can ask for your data to be deleted sooner, except where the law requires a record to be retained.
Under the GDPR you may ask to see the data held about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy of it, or object to how it is used. Write to o.marina899@gmail.com and Marina will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL, or with the supervisory authority in your own country.
Marina teaches students of all ages, including children. Bookings and payments must be made by an adult — a parent or guardian — who accepts these terms on the child's behalf. This site does not knowingly collect personal data directly from a child. In France, a person under 15 cannot consent to their data being processed without a parent or guardian, and if you believe a child's data has been submitted here without that consent, write to the address above and it will be deleted.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
